The Calgary Stampede is an annual rodeo, exhibition and festival held every July in Calgary.
Tuesday, July 12, 2011 marked my second chance to attend the annual Stampede Lunch at the Women’s Centre of Calgary.
There was a good turn out and great weather. So many wonderful women showed up. There was also live music, good food and face painting.
Almost everyone that attended assisted with the set-up and take down in one way or the other. I would really like to thank the women that showed up and supported the event; Tenille who was the star musician; the Encana volunteers; the Women’s Centre volunteers and the Women’s Centre staff. You all made that day a memorable Stampede Lunch for me.
Thank you Women’s Centre for organising such a great event!
