Do you know a girl who would like to go summer camp? We are offering free day camps for girls (ages 10-12) during the weeks of July 15-19,
July 22-26 (full) and August 19-23.
Girl Power connects girls with other girls. Activities include art, dance, self-defense and theatre. Mentors will lead discussions and activities on topics such as empowerment, identity, self-esteem, body image, gender roles, healthy relationships, and activism in a safe, supportive, girls-only environment.
Girls are invited to attend one week of camp. Camps run Monday-Thursday from 9:00am until 4:00pm and on Fridays from 9:00am until 12:30pm. All supplies, lunches and snacks will be provided. Bus tickets are also available if needed.
Parents or guardians can call 403-264-1155 or email firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com for more information or to register.

I am so happy to see a program centered on self esteems: self image and more especially for young girls. Big thumbs up! Way to go.
I was also wondering if you have activities for age 6 . 7 and 9? I will greatly appreciate if you late me know. Also if you don’t can you guide me if you are aware of other programs.
Is there free programs also for age 6 yrs old and 5 yr old boy?
Thank you for your comments about our Girl Power program.
At the moment, we don’t have special programming for younger girls or boys. We do have some information about other summer programs for kids – if you’d like to give us a call at 403-264-1155 or stop by sometime, we can pass that information on to you!
