Feminism in Blackfoot society

Come and learn about the Blackfoot First Nation Women and their status within the Blackfoot community. The Blackfoot Community is made up of three First Nation bands, the Kainai, Siksika, and Peigan in the Treaty 7 area.

Jenny Bruisedhead from the Kainai First Nation, member of the Horn Society, Buffalo Women Society and Leader of the Bravedog Society, will be facilitating this workshop on feminism within the Blackfoot Society.

All women-identified people are welcome to join us.

We would like to acknowledge that the Women’s Centre is situated on the traditional territories of the Treaty 7 First Nations people and is also home to Métis Nation of Alberta, Region III.
