National Indigenous Peoples Day (Online)

Join us for our Indigenous Peoples Day event on June 21, 2021, 3:00-4:30pm.
We will start by taking a moment to honor the precious lives of the 215 Indigenous children found in a mass grave at Kamloops Indian Residential School.
We will then honor Indigenous women by respecting the different cultures of the Indigenous communities in Turtle Island. We will be joined by Cree Ojibwe, Metis Singer and social justice advocate, and activist Chantal Chagnon, Indigenous artist from the Mosakahiken Cree Nation, Flora Johnson, the Mini Thni Dancers from the Stoney Nakoda First Nation, and advocate and activist, Tapisa Kilabuk, an inuk women from Qikiqtaaluk Region of Nunavut.
