A Discussion of Community Waste Exploration

June 8, 2020 @ 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm

Free

Do you ever question what is recyclable and what is not? Is Styrofoam recyclable? What about coffee cup lids and wrappers? If you are confused about “what goes where”, you are not alone. To help solve the confusion, Green Calgary is offering a new and unique learning opportunity to the Women’s Centre of Calgary.

The program will include a series of interactive webinars with eye-opening learning tasks.

You will learn exactly what should go into your residential recycling, compost and garbage carts. And, if you wonder why there are so many rules around it all, you will learn why and the fascinating science behind it. This program will empower you to properly manage your household waste and live more sustainably. You will receive a Waste Journal Guide supplied with tools and tips to help you create a personalized action plan and track behaviour change towards a more zero waste lifestyle.

Register below and an access link will be sent to you prior to the event.

Online discussions are open to women-identifying individuals only.
