International Women’s Day was celebrated with delicious food, great music, and some truly inspirational women this year.

People filled the Kerby Centre last Thursday to recognize women in our community and around the world who have made a difference.

After a great performance from Carla Olive, we were treated to two songs from the Raging Grannies on secondary suites and progressive tax reform.

And last but not least, we had a rousing rendition of Bread and Roses.

We would like to thank all of the diverse people who volunteered their time and their kitchens to make our potluck a success.

We would also like to recognize all the sponsors who helped make this day possible:

Thank you everyone who came out to celebrate with us and to share food, entertainment and thoughtful ideas for inspiring change. To see photos from the event, click here.
